Advice for a complete beginner

I am looking to get my first kit this year and was hoping for some advice! I currently play bass and guitar, I’ve always had a naturally good rhythm and have been thinking about getting into drumming for a while.

But… complete beginner when it comes to kit. Mostly play rock at the moment but want to expand with drumming and also learn more styles like jazz, funk, so I guess I need a versatile kit. What sort of starter kit do I need to be looking for? All sorts of drum sizes and stuff, and which cymbals are defo required and which can I leave for now?

Pearl export is a decent starter kit which you can usually get for a couple hundred.
