Sink Water in Urine

Post Body

Today I had to take a random. I was prepared with my own clean urine in a 5hr energy shot kept between my legs. I always believed that 30mL of urine is enough. I had 40mL. Well they handed me the cup and I can see it's a Quest Diagnostics split sample which requires 60mL. I did the only thing I could do. Pour my 40mL of urine and add 20mL of hot water from the sink. Temperature was just fine. My urine was actually dark yellow and the water made it a very healthy looking light yellow. The guy collected the sample and didn't suspect s thing. He split the sample between two containers, sealed it and had me sign....my question is, will Quest know right away that I added water? will it come up diluted even though the color was still yellow and a 40mL / 20mL mixture?
