I was prescribed 56x 30mg codeine phosphate pills (pure, not combined with paracetamol) following surgery on my wrist. I took 60mg 4 times a day following my surgery for the pain but stopped taking them after a week as the pain went away and I no longer needed them. I have 5 pills left which equals 150mg Codeine phosphate and as I am a bit of a psychonaught I obviously want to take them. When I was taking 60mg I didn't get anything apart from a high so tiny it may have just well been placebo, and no side effects apart from sleepiness and constipation (mainly because I was taking them regularly). When I stopped I had no withdrawals and I have no cravings for them. I only have these 5 pills left and no access or need for anymore so it would only be a one off with virtually no chance of addiction. For further context when I had the surgery I was given IV morphine and fentanyl and I didn't even feel that high then so I doubt I have a weak tolerance.
TLDR: I have 150mg Codeine phosphate left over from surgery a couple weeks ago. Is it safe to take that dose with no previous strong reaction to opiates and a small tolerance after taking them regularly for a week
