Edit: sorry, the title should say grandma lol
When I was about 15 I was staying the night with my grandma when I got a sudden asthma attack. I didn't have an inhaler there so she let me smoke a bit of Datura to help and it worked pretty quickly.
Fast forward 4 years and im going through the absolute worse allergies I've ever had. Talking like constant runny nose, swollen face, watery eyes, itchy everywhere, and it lasted every single day for months. No medication would work. The constant inflammation from the allergic assault I got that spring triggered ALL of my pre-existing conditions to flare up. Including my asthma. I was now having asthma attacks when I sneezed (which was all the time), slept, and basically just whenever my body felt like it. The most uncontrollable asthma I've ever had. My sweet grandma sent me a big bag of dried Datura to smoke for my asthma attacks.
Now, I have awful adhd, so I put in a drawer and forgot about it. When I found it again I forgot how to take it and I knew it was a hallucinogen so I didn't want to take too much and just put it away again. Recently my asthma has started getting bad again and I found it. I started smoking a bit when I felt like I was having an asthma attack because all of my inhalers expired and I don't have a way to get one sooner than my next PCP visit which isn't at least for another two weeks.
Could this be bad for me?? She says it's fine but I started watching this Nexpo video and it's about some redditor that used Datura and wasn't heard from again. Could I end up overdosing if I smoke it for asthma attacks?
