Vaping substances 101?

I'm just starting to vape nicotine, but also interested in vaping other substances (benzos, dmt, thc etc.). Do I need different machines for each? Can a vape used for thc be used for benzos? Can a vape used for nicotine be used for any other substances etc. ? I'm very inexperienced in vaping so any & all info or suggestions greatly appreciated!
