Live in an illegal country - announces upcoming drug dog check

Hey y'all, so my country prohibits all drugs except alcohol and cigarettes and my dorm which is huge fucking building with about 20 floors announced that there may be a drug check with police and dogs involved. And dorm is the only place I can chill and just vape my hash and be alone, listen to music and do my work. Do you think I should stash my shit at my friend's place or there's some possible way to conceal 1g of hash from drug dogs? I did some googling and my thoughts turn a bit forward to taking it safe way but I don't know. Can you give me some advice y'all?
