Taking adderall to study, but brain feels fried for 3 days - how to space?

Post Body
I recently took 10 mg adderall IR to help study for an exam, but my brain felt different for the following 3 days (first day was a dull headache, next was anxiety, third was normalizing).
What is happening to my brain, and is there any recommendation on optimal spacing for 10 mg IR?
I only have 10 days left until my exam, and recently just recovered from this first time experience.
Thanks
