im 15, and both of my parents are addicts (cigarettes mainly on my moms side, but my dads side consists of cigs, alcohol, weed, pills, gambling, the whole shii.)

so, obviously i have the addict gene, and thats been obvious for years, but ever since i got into highscool its gotten bad asf. i been on vaping nd shit for about a year nd a half, but thats not the point of this. basically i been diagnosed with adhd for years, but only recently (end of october 2024) convinced my mom to get me on meds. she never wanted to because thats how my dad started abusing pills, he started wit adderal. so i got on ritalin, and almost immediatly started abusing it. it started with snorting it as a joke on ft wit my friends, and i ended up fucking loving it and ive been doing it like almost nightly since (give or take).

im yapping nd not getting to the point (prolly bc im on ritalin rn, it makes me talk alot) so lemme js get to the point.

has/does anyone else gone thru similar issues? like, i dont even wanna stop. i already have sleep issues and miss at least 2 days a week of school, like EVERY week. i missed a month total in one semester.

im only 15, this shit is not normal bro.
