I (21 F) have been smoking weed regularly for about 5 years now, with a few T breaks in between. I use carts, dabs, bud, all of it. But, recently (the last 1.5 years) i’ve been trying out a lot of other things. With that being said, i’ve noticed a huge decline in my literal mental capacity. It’s so hard for me to think through things, remember things, problem solve, etc. Im like this even when i’m sober. Im currently enrolled in trade school and i’ve noticed it’s especially hard for me to retain/ understand the information im being taught. It seems easy and mildly understandable at the time however, when it’s time for me to apply my knowledge, I completely blank. The only way I can really remember anything nowadays is to repeat the information/action over and over and over again until it’s physically impossible for me to forget it lol. I know weed causes brain fog but does it really get this bad, or are the other substances potentially causing this? Does anyone else relate to this? It definitely has something to do with the long term weed usage but what else causes this? Does this eventually go away?
