how to know when to stop a benzo taper
Post Body

Hey, I'm trying to taper my benzos. From 3 mg Kpin, now I'm currently taking 10 mg Valium every 3-4 days. I'm struggling to decide if I should continue the taper or not. At that third/fourth day, I get to the level of unbearable anxiety in bursts and all that other fun shit, but I can never decide if taking another Valium is okay and good and the correct thing to do instead of "taking a step backwards." If that makes sense, you could say I'm trying to validate taking one right now, which is partly true; however, this is my first real taper. It's not overseen by a doc; he doesn't know I'm doing it. My question is how do you know when it's right vs. just redosing? I switched to Valium because it's the least difficult to taper with. I'm looking for some more info I'd need about how I should taper and how to be more effective with it. Thanks, guys; I really appreciate any advice. Currently, this is the 4th day since my last dose.
