I wanted to ask this because surely there are enough of youse high functioning addicts in this sub, that have normal jobs, or jobs that don’t match the kind of person you are online. I love my job and I’ve carried my aspirations into active addiction, but often I feel deeply ashamed because it’s not right, and I know if they knew, they’d be sick, because I should be trustworthy.
I’m hoping there are people like me. Obviously, don’t reveal where you work. I just want to feel less alone.
How does your habit interfere with your job and how do you cope with those interferences?
