Why is there a stereotype of Percocet making you act strange?

I take kratom and 7-hydroxymitragynine (opioid; hydroxy is most similar to morphine) and perfectly understand nodding, being talkative, getting a weird head feeling, getting irritable, all that…but I don’t understand significant behavioral changes. Do other opioids actually do that?
