Alcohol is damm addictive
Post Body

Idk where the narrative of alcohol not being as addictive as other hard drugs are comes from, but that couldnt be further from truth. It is true that hangovers, sleepiness, nausea and taste/quantity are all aspects that make it look less addictive then other hard drugs.

However, if you learn how to surpass this aspects, it gets one hell of a drug.

I used to drink on a half-full stomach, mix beer and vodka, take shots , puke and wake up the next morning feeling like shit and never wanting to drink again.

Now, I learned how to drink wisely (not responsably just wisely):

  1. Hangover - do not mix drinks, do not take shots without drinking water after, preferably drink white licors with juice as mixer ( eg vodka lemonade)

  2. Sleepines - drink a coffe, take a caffeine pill etc. I always take a 200mg caffeine pill before and if I get tired I take another ( could he done with cocaine, but thats just a whole other animal)

3.Nausea - eat a big meal, but wait at least 3h before you start drinking

  1. Pace yourself, sip dont drink, try to keep a steady level of drunkeness trought the night.

Now I wake wanting to drink again the next day😭.

Another thing that makes alcohol addictive is tolerance. While with stimulants/empathogens you quickly loose the magic after a couple uses in a row, with alcohol tolerance isnt very noticable, and you actually benefit from a little tolerance, as you can pace yourself better. This makes alcohol not loose its effects even after a couple nights of binge drinking.
