My Psychiatrist called me in to do a urinary drug test to check the levels of DIAZEPAM in my system to make sure I wasn't overdoing it... She comes back to me and says, "*****, you had 3 different Benzodiazepines pop up on your drug test, so I'm tapering you off the medication starting with your next prescription refill... The 3 Benzos that popped were Nordiazepam, Temazepam, and Oxazepam... I literally had to explain to this stupid a* psychiatrist that Diazepam metabolizes into 3 different Benzos so it's going to show that on a drug test... She literally had to Google it right in front of me... And I had to ask if she was going to apologize... she did hesitantly... She's been a Psychiatrist for 3 years... So she's either never drug tested someone on Diazepam or she's never prescribed Diazepam to anyone except for me, which is highly unlikely. I'm definitely getting a new psychiatrist after she sends in my next 4 refills.
