What do i do with Bars

A buddy of mine got sent to foster care and i won’t be seeing him and now i have a bunch of his alprazolam he was selling which he told me were xans. I know they’re pretty addictive and i don’t really have an urge to take any but it seems like a waste to just flush them. Should i take them to see how they feel because i know they make it easy to fall asleep or if it would be a better idea to just get rid of them.
Im pretty sure they are 5mg presses but i could be wrong ive only ever smoked weed
