I tried many other benzos before: -Alprazolam: nice anxiolysis but not very sedating, best one so far -Clonazepam: mild anxiolysis but very disappointing and not recreational -Diazepam: relaxing and anxiolytic but worse than alprazolam -Lorazepam: worse than clonazepam

So my usual recreational dosage for alprazolam was 4mg-6mg without a tolerance cuz benzos affect me differently, I have never blacked out on clonazepam even after taking a massive 38mg dose cuz it's trash.

A few days ago I tried estazolam, couldn't find any good info about it's recreational effects, it's about 0.5x as potent as alprazolam.

My buddy told me it's trash and it's only good for sleep. (all the other benzos I tried before have not made me sleepy at all)

So I dosed 8mg of estazolam. Hit pretty quickly in around 30 minutes. Anxiolysis was comparable to that of 4mgs of alprazolam, exactly what I expected.

But it was very sedating, never have I ever got sedation with benzos except this one since it's more hypnotic than anxiolytic.

Not really euphoric cuz benzos don't give me euphoria but I would rate it at least on par with alprazolam maybe even higher but you need to take larger doses in order to feel the same effects. Excellent for sleep and relaxation, certainly recreational but alprazolam would be better for social situations where you don't want to be sedated.

Tldr: estazolam is very relaxing, certainly recreational, like a sedating Xanax.
