Hi so recently I was looking at this one site that shows you what doctors have prescribed to patients. Really itās a site to find doctors for state insurance but thatās besides the point. So basically I found this doctor and I want to know what everybody else thinks and if somebody could do the math for me because Iām dumb, Iām just curious how many patients she gives benzos to. I know itās a lot but let me give you examples then the number (yes I added them all together out of like 40 medications). Examples sheās prescribed xanax 350 times, klonopin 310 times, Valium 40 times, and Ativan 230 times. Compared to (just a few) Prozac 65 times, Clexa 55 times, and Zoloft 146 times. Getting the example out of the way, she prescribed 3,762 all times (all mediations including benzos). Of 504 all patients. She prescribed 1,000 times (benzos only) to 135 patients. She prescribed 1,643 times (benzos and other controls like addys and ambien to name a few) to 210 patients. It showed no number for a couple of patients on others like addy, ambis, temzepam, and others. OH I forgot, hereās the āNumber of Days Suppliesā Xanax - 10,640 days Kolonopin - 10, 060 days and Ativan - 9,350 days compared to the average 1,000-4,500 days. So what do you guys think? What precent of patients get benzos? Iām also curious of how many benzos she give per script but I keep getting lost. Yes she is a very old doctor been around for 20 years so.
