Hi
One of my best friends died recently, just trying to understand what had happened.
His brother explained the police found him dead in his home. It was hard to understand what he was saying and I know nothing about drugs, I didn't want to ask more as the family were already upset.
They told me he was always hooked on tablets (I don't know what tablets but he mentioned valium later) and drank alcohol every day. I never knew this side of him so I had no idea it was that bad, I just knew he had tried lots of drugs in the past. He was on something while in prison to get him off whatever he was on before.
Since he was released from prison his weight dropped significantly, he was always quite overweight, his face looked like it had shrunk (his face was so different, not just from weight loss, I don't know how to explain but I have seen other drug users with similar faces). Could Valium have caused this or would something else?
Can Valium on its own cause a fatal overdose, could it have been tainted? I think this showed on tests but they said it takes three months for a full report.
