Hello,
For about a year, I have been taking 10 mg of ritalin on average 3 times a week (or 30 mg on average per week in total). The other days, I either don't have anything or I have a few coffees.
Important information: I am not ADHD.
However, I feel much more productive on the days when I take Ritalin or caffeine (alternating Ritalin and caffeine prevents me from developing caffeine tolerance). It changes my life quite a bit.
My questions are:
as a non-ADHD person, am I at risk for my health from Ritalin?
are there people among you who take or have already taken ritalin long term and who do not have ADHD? How is your health?
I thought of a precaution but is it reliable? If I go to see a cardiologist for example every 5 years, and he sees that something is starting to go wrong, will it be irreversible, or are the first signs of a potential heart problem reversible?
Same question regarding the other organs
bonus question: what about modafinil?
Thank you so much !
