When can I go to the toilet after taking a morphine pill?

Hi, I don't want to waste the pill by dumping it out, so should I hold my poop in for several hours after consuming the pill? I know this is a dumb question, and it probably wont matter, but i've heard of "ghost pills", so could I possibly sh*t out my pill, since I chewed it, and not swallowed it whole? Don't wanna waste 300mg of morphine.
