I don’t want to go too much into detail for anonymity because this whole situation is sketchy, but essentially we found a pill in a family member’s room (several, actually) that they do not ha a prescription for and we are worried that they are abusing drugs. This person is underage and has a bit of a streak with drug use already, but we don’t know anything about this type of thing. After looking the pills up, we found that it was adderall and vyvanse. I have heard of the former and idk exactly what the side effects are, but I have no knowledge of what vyvanse is, side effects or how it works. I figured I would come here for real-life user experiences so I knew what signs to look for to see if this family member is using them. I mean, we already know, but I guess I’m just nervous because they are underage and I’m kind of freaking out. Is my family member actually trying to medicate their adhd? Am I just being optimistic?
