I've been curious about 2C-B for awhile and read a decent number of trip reports and comments about the effects. The impression I got was that low doses would be similar to small dose of acid combined with a small dose of MDMA.

I finally got my hands on some and tested it thoroughly. Everything checked out so I measured myself 10mg and snorted it because I hate nausea and long duration trips...

Holy shit. I was not prepared at all for what hit me. I've only ever eaten mushrooms, LSD, and MDMA. I'm used to the longer come up and visuals building to a peak.

Never in my life have I put my head down to do a line and as I'm coming up, the walls start melting. I immediately ran to my bed where I luckily already had music and soft colored lights on. Within five minutes I saw the clearest, crispest geometric fractals eminating from the LED lights. I was watching rivers of drywall texture running down the walls. I saw greens and pinks glowing all around me even though I knew none of my lights were that color.

This lastest for about an hour until I was able to collect myself enough to get up and get a cold compress and some water.

Luckily, what I read about the duration being short was true. Around the 2 hour mark I was more or less fully functional again with just some lingering wobbliness and bright colors.

I didn't really feel anything that reminded me of MDMA. Definitely some tactile enhancement, but I get that with most psychedelics. No euphoria, no stimulation, no "love bomb" feelings.

All in all pretty enjoyable after the initial "oh fuck how long is this gonna last" but I do not understand any of the comments I've read saying that 2C-B is not a very powerful psychedelic. I can't even imagine what a "heavy dose" between 30-40mg would have done. I'm pretty sure I would have completely lost touch with reality.
