I just donāt understand this. Iām aware of cross contamination. The only other case scenario is illogical and counterproductive from a business standpoint. Why would a dealer with straight fentanyl waste it by adding it to coke, Molly, meth, etc? Obviously the customer is gonna notice that there is something wrong with the product they received AND they might die without proper medical attention. So not only did the seller lose future sales, they also lost what couldāve been a frequent customer. I know fentanyl is ādirt cheapā but is it really as cheap as Molly or meth? In that case, per milligram, wouldnāt they profit more just by selling it as fentanyl to our opiate deprived brothers? The shit just isnāt adding up for me.
My outlandish theory that will get me downvoted to oblivion: The federal government is seizing packages/shipments of regular street drugs (maybe even cartel shipments) and cutting them with fentanyl in an effort to tip the scales back in their favor.
The federal government knows they have lost the War on Drugs. Hell, cannabis is legal in most states either recreationally or medically. So how do they save face? Create a deadly scenario in which distributors are being ālow life human beingsā that cut their product with highly potent and possibly lethal opiates.
Prior to the mass flood of fentanyl in the US, things were looking very good for the drug community. Cannabis legalization was making headway in various states, the recent surge of dark net markets provided a new avenue for people to safely acquire hard-to-find drugs such as LSD or MDMA, and new medical studies were being introduced on the aforementioned psychedelic drugs, most notably the mental health sector of medicine.
We almost had it guys! And the feds knew it. Rather than go apologize for their quick judgement and to all the ācriminalsā they would have to release, they decided to demonize drugs and its suppliers by any means necessary. Even if it meant the deaths of hundreds of thousands if not millions of drug users! As I mentioned, we were doing great in our efforts up to the year ~2015 and decriminalization may have been around the corner. Flash forward to today and it feels like weāve taken all those steps back and then some.
Nail in the coffin: If fentanyl is really being put in our drugs by distributors, why isnāt it happening in the UK? Or any other country? Could it be that the US Federal Government is doing this on their own? This would explain why itās not happening in other countries at the staggering percentage that Americans are being faced with. Cartels most certainly sell to other countries besides the United States so why is it remaining solely a US problem?
Rant over.
