Hypothermia and methylamphetamine

I've been thinking that it could be beneficial for somebody going mountain climbing somewhere with extreme conditions like Mount Everest, where hypothermia is a known risk, to have a bit of meth in their first aid kit. With hypothermia, drowsiness is very dangerous as people do not wake up if they fall asleep. Better to take bit of meth right?
