Is the effect of Kratom even noticeable, and if so how does it feel?

On paper its just a pretty avarage legal drug that makes you slightly happy and energetic, sounds like caffeine to me. But theres also people saying you nod out and get high from it, so yeah i know its subjective but how does it feel for everyone here? Kratom is gonna be my first drug too so any advice for first time is appreciated (:
( i loveee first times thats why i ask how it feels, i hope its gonna be something that leaves me happy the whole week even if its not intense )
