So I usually take 100-300mg of Pregabalin as prescribed for if needed use. 2 days ago I had a 300mg pregabalin day, then 2 days off. Today would be day 3.
I found a huge box of old prescribed gabapentin in a cupboard. As I was curious about some people saying they‘d even prefer gabapentin instead of pregabalin (lyrica) I would be very interested in trying out Gabapentin this time for the same use meaning treating my symptoms of depression, anhedonia, lack of drive & social anxiety.
I know most people just say pregabalin and gabapentin are both the same, pregabalin just being x times stronger. But then other say the effects do differ a bit, at least for them even a lot (i have no clue how much they differ psychopharmacologically in the end).
Well, what‘s your opinion on this? Do they differ? Anyone even preferring Gabapentin over Pregabalin?
What would be the best way for me trying out Gabapentin now so long after my last time Gabapentin but being a Pregabalin user? I definitely have lots of Gabapentin but don‘t want to get so high in dose just to feel something but fck up my tolerance with the Pregabalin.
