Longterm pharmacophobia following several overdoses.
Post Body

In the past, I used I was addicted to alcohol for about 5 years, then cannabis for 3, I used opiates, psychedelics, DXM, etc. but after nearly dying several times due to drugs, I now have developed extreme pharmacophobia. I am scared to take ibuprofen, allergy medications, when I drink I dose my alcohol intake in pure ethanol just to know exactly how much I'm ingesting. Can anyone here, perhaps an ex-user, relate to this?

It is extremely shitty, in a way im glad It forced me to be clean due to intense panic attacks at the thought of altering my consciousness, but also, I have severe phobia of medical procedures, couple that with pharmacophobia, and I get a panic attack from the environment, or from the drugs that they give me to "calm down." It sucks.

I'd be nice to hear I'm not the only one who experienced this. Thanks
