Tachycardia after weed

Post Body

Hello, I always get tachycardia when I smoke weed. Sometimes it’s minor, like maybe around 100bpm, sometimes 120bpm or even higher. Sometimes I also experience chest pains or numbness in left arm (but very minor). This often gets me anxious.

I’ve been wondering if there are any safe, preferably OTC options that could help my heart rate stay pretty low on weed. I’m already mixing 20% THC herb with 30% cbd herb in 1:1 ratio, which helps a lot with anxiety and I very rarely get chest pains, but doasn’t help heart rate a lot.

No benzos please, I don’t want to go on black market just to battle this side effect.

If that matters I’m not a daily smoker, sometimes I smoke 3 times a week and sometimes I go without it for a month. I usually use bong or blunts, doses are around 0.05 of THC herb per smoke (I usually smoke 2-3 times over the span of 3-4 hours). I can’t do edibles because where I live cannabis is illegal, and I live in rented apartment in a complex where smell travels very easily to another parts of the building so I can’t really make my own.
