I live in a Deep South state that has serious issues with fake opiate pills. Almost every pill on the street is shitty quality and often lethal. I struggled with benzodiazepine and opioid abuse but have it more under control these days. My friend group also does substances, but they have stayed away from opiates because of the danger associated in my area. I started out with dangerous fake presses but these days I have only pharmaceutical oxy. My friends are very often asking if they can get some oxy from me, and I’ve always said no. Recently, a friend who’d been wanting to try them asked me for one. I said no. He proceeded to buy a fake m30 off the street and almost die. I don’t know if I should start giving them some of my prescriptions ?? I feel like it would help with harm reduction but I really don’t want to put a friend down that path?? First off, they aren’t drug naive, only opiate naive, every friend in question has done drugs like coke, Xanax, psychs, mdma, etc. Second off, I wouldn’t be giving them at a profit or anything, I’d just be giving them one or two to sway them away from touching the street shit in my area? My biggest fear is them liking it and then moving onto fake street pills when I refuse to give them more. Anyone got any advice? I just want what’s best for my friends. Also this goes without saying but no one hit me up trying to source anything from me. I won’t respond.
