I haven’t been to the doctor in a while but I’m wanting to go in soon to talk about my mental health since it’s been on a bit of a decline lately. I’m not sure what to expect but I’m honestly just hoping to get on some antidepressants, maybe something for anxiety, and start going to therapy.
I currently smoke weed daily which I’m wanting to cut back on and I have no problem telling my doctors this (I smoke to deal with being anxious all the time so I’m hoping once I’m medicated, I won’t feel the need to). However, I take molly once every three months when I go to music festivals and I’m not sure if I should bring that up. I know that you can’t mix mdma with most antidepressants bc of the risk of serotonin syndrome so I kind of want to talk to my doctor about what my options are but I’m worried they’re going to think I’m using way more than I am or won’t prescribe antidepressants bc of it. Does anyone have experience with this? How did your conversation go?
