So let’s say your man gets raided. You get picked up on an old warrant during raid, then the next day in jail they say you’ve got pending charges for meth possession (despite having none on you, none near you and none in your system at the time of raid). Meanwhile your man is willing to try working, but they keep his phone and attempting to call dude on a burner gets h blocked. They let him go on “prejudice”, your charge disappears a few days later, and dtf doesn’t contact either of you for almost 2 weeks. What would you make of that situation/expect to occur in the future? It seems likely that they’d come get him at some point, but his charges aren’t coming up on any court site. Mine was apparently erased entirely, but I reckon they could have it brought back if they wanted? Fuck if I know. The papers about the raid say “suspected” methamphetamine, could they just be waiting on results to come get us?? So fucking over not having any idea about what the fuck they’re up to. I’m not familiar with how much power DTF has in Michigan or exactly what laws exist in regards to it, figured I’d ask if anyone’s got any history dealing with them here first and if y’all have some feedback about your experiences with them. Fuck my life. But thank you to anyone who can spend a moment to respond to this. Anxiety from the unknown elements at play here has surely taken a few years off of my lifespan.
