Acid question, planning to do the first time

Hi guys. I’m planning to buy acid, 2pieces 170ug each. Will 170ug be good quantity for me? I’ve read a lot ab it, and I assume ,even though 170 is pretty high dosage, but tolerable. Or should I decrease it?
Also, in my place there’re many trustful vendors, so i take blindly. I have a question: what if i take the stamp, then feel some taste (bitter, metal etc), and take it out immediately. Will it be still potent? Just to know if i get accidentally f up on nbom or something..
