Or any sort prescription stimulant for that matter? I know that for a lot of users who do heroin that they'll substitute other types of opiates like prescription painkillers and that can be enough to curb the urge or desire to do heroin. You don't hear that with meth addicts, even though drugs like meth and Adderall are both amphetamines and in my opinion have very similar highs. And I mean people do abuse prescription amphetamines, but not nearly with as much regularity as people who abuse prescription painkillers. But why not? I'm a huge fan of stimulants myself and have found that taking Adderall is enough for me to curb my urges and desires to use meth. I'd think that other meth addicts would feel the same way too, which makes me wonder why there aren't more prescription stimulants on the streets?
