Alcoholism has affected my family badly. Ironically I started out my addiction with alcohol around 17 and stopped around 19 basically when I started smoking weed. Eventually went to more addictive things and basically now I'm mainly a pill head but I have a special kind of hate towards alcohol, even more than fentanyl. Because my poor mom has been slowly killing herself with alcohol because she's such a stressful person and works hard and is in pain constantly so she copes with alcohol. I've tried to help and talk to her about it but decided to not bring it up anymore because I think she's also just ashamed idk she functions and isn't a crazy person while drinking but yeah. Fuck alcohol. Anyone else's family member an alcoholic?
