Permanent effects from meth addiction?

Post Body

I was addicted to meth for 4 years, clean for 2 or so. I just feel like my brain/mental health is still affected by it and wanted to know if anyone experiences the same? I don’t even know how to explain what’s different because it really feels like everything, I can’t laugh when having conversations with people, I don’t have motivation to do anything, haven’t been able to keep a job for very long at a time and my last relationship which I was clean during still was wrecked from my mental health. When I’m tired or anxious or upset I feel like I still see shadow people/ hallucinations. I’m really depressed and a lot more anxious than I used to be

TLDR; can meth cause permanent brain damage?
