Particularly in early UK rave culture, it seems like speed & ecstasy went hand-in-hand. Every oldschool raver I hear from touts “E’s and whizz” as the classic combo. There was even a major song out called “sorted for E’s and whizz” at the time. (Whizz = amphetamine, for those who don’t speak bucket-hat)
My question is this, why do people nowadays claim that speed takes-away from MDMA/ecstasy? Was there a certain order you’d dose? Like ecstasy first and then speed, or vice-versa? Does it improve the roll, or kill parts of it?
Always wanted to see what’s up about this combo, but all the modern fear-mongering makes me feel like I’d be wasting a good roll.
