i have questions about clonidine and tizanidine

(i did long post cuz idk what one i should have picked) what are the the key differences in each drug compared to each other and whats different? tizanidine has help a lot with my nerve pain and i never really felt anything on clonidine, so how can 2 drugs be so similar but act differently?
