So I have been depressed for quite some time now (around 2 years - with ups and downs ofc) but I was able to keep it together by focusing on the gym, or other goals. Now that isn't working anymore, I'm always tired and I'm not able to focus on anything. I have been going to therapy for 4 years now and now I got a psychiatrist too. I wanted to try out stimms because I believe that I have ADHD (my therapist says that my ADHD symptoms come from my depression), and so I asked my psychiatrist, but he said that they would probably just leave me even more drained.
So, in a week or two, after I get my blood test results, I'll get a prescription for quetiapine, as an antidepressant. At first I was happy because ssris have a lot of side effects, but after reading about It I'm kinda confused. This is gonna make me tired as shit, so, that's kinda against the whole purpose isn't it? Or am I missing anything?
