Can you die from one hit of ketamine

So this has been pissing me off lately. My roommate is saying that he’s worried for me because he think I might end up dying from doing ketamine. I do it a couple times a week and take multiple weeks off from doing K. He says that he knew someone who took one hit of ketamine and died on the spot there and had to go to the hospital, im thinking the person he knew just kholed or they got laced. But I’m pretty sure you can’t die from ketamine. The last time I checked it would take thousands of dollars of K to kill me. Can you die from taking one hit of K?
