Who here with experience can speak to how long it took your brain to return to normal after getting sober?
Post Body

I started smoking weed when I was 16 and did almost everything in the book up until age 23 when I got sober last November. During those 7 years I was never sober for longer than probably two weeks, so granted I gave my brain quite the ride but it has been almost 6 months now and certain aspects of my life, like things that are controlled by my frontal lobe, are just really fucked up. I really fucked myself up by putting myself thru so much heavy drug use during my developmental years, how long do you all think it would take for my brain to regain or even simply gain function it never got the chance to gain? I'm still 23 so I still have brain plasticity, which is my glimmer of hope.
