Ativan after alcohol

I stopped drinking but last night I had 3 shots of Jameson and 7 or 8 beers between the hours of 3pm and 830pm.. it’s now 11:40am the next day and I’m pretty anxious from it. Would it be safe to take 1mg of Ativan or should I wait a bit longer ?
