Hello everyone! So I’ve been wanting to make an amphetamine vape because of the ease to dose anywhere and at anytime. Now the issue is amphetamine sulfate (the most common street amphetamine salt) will burn rather than vaporise so It isn’t a good option, freebase isn’t an option either given it has a pKa of 9.8 which sounds terrible for mucus membranes, it is also not too stable.

Amphetamine HCl could be a worthy candidate, it is stable, and should vaporise well by the temperatures achieved by most vapes. The only possible downsides are it could possibly corrode the vapes coils to quickly and could potentially cause some damage (even though most likely minor) to teeth enamel so it also doesn’t sound like a great option.

Amphetamines benzoate salt, amphetamine benzoate could be another potential candidate, benzoate salts are most often used in nicotine salt vapes, the only potential issues I see are due to its solubility, there isn’t much available data on the solubility of amphetamine benzoate in PG / VG unlike with nicotine where a single dose of a few milligrams is necessary, a much greater amount of amphetamine benzoate would be needed to feel it’s effects and so it being very soluble is important unless you’d be willing to vape an entire cart in order to feel some slight effects.

Has anyone got any information on amphetamine benzoates solubility, or any other ideas on how it could be used within a vape?
