Ok so I’ve been on benzos for 3.5 months need taper advice

So currently I’m taking 4mg of bromazolam today in pressed pills all pressed pills have hotspots I’ve heard plus these were the cheap ones about a dollar a pop so my question is can I taper down to 1mg and just go straight cold turkey from 1mg? Or maybe when I get back to one mg cut a quarter of the bar in half but I’m worried I won’t get much bromaz because of hotspots
