What drug will ruin your life the fastest?

I see all of these street addicts and wonder how someone goes from living a functional adult life to throwing away their entire life for a drug. Boosting, selling their body, and pawning away everything they own. I've known people who can use "hard" drugs occasionally and they never get addicted but some people seem to get high on meth or heroin a few times and then decide that that is all they need in life. Just curious what your thoughts are.

Yep. Alcohol has been the worst drug I've ever done. Nothing else is as easily accessible, socially acceptable and common as alcohol.
