I want to preface by saying I don’t want this to get taken down because all the questions I’m asking are just so I can remain safe, healthy, and law abiding. I’m not asking for promotion of drug use.

So I live in a country where weed is legal, but basically every other drug is illegal or needs a prescription. I’m going to Mexico soon (flying) where weed is essentially illegal and where I’m from only certain territories have weed legalized (federally illegal) so I wouldn’t be able to fly back with anything either.

Because of this I’d been looking into ways to get some sort of substance while I’m over there because it’s a vacation and I like to have a good time and try new things. A friend who recently went says that Xanax/Benzos are sold without a prescription there (legally) and recommended I try that if I want a good high.

There are a few concerns and questions I have before I buy/try it because, again, safe and law abiding.

For reference, other drugs I’ve tried besides weed and nicotine are shrooms, MDMA, and adderall/alcohol combo. So not much experience but I have had positive experiences with those which is why I am open to trying more substances. But my whole thing is I’m safely wild, so I have questions.

1. Just generally, for someone who’s about 160lbs, what is a good starting dosage to feel a high?

2. I know it’s bad to mix alcohol and most medications, but like HOW dangerous is it with Xanax on a scale of 1-10. 1 being like weed, 10 being like heroin or K. I just want to know this because I mix alcohol and medications pretty frequently just due to the fact that I’m on a lot of medication, and have never had a negative experience so I tend to just assume everything is fine which obviously could have bad consequences. All internet sources say everything is deadly with alcohol which we know is not true, so I don’t really trust the normal medical sites.

3. Can someone give me a description of what the high will feel like? The highest I’ve been on a depressant has been dabs, is Xanax similar? Will I fall asleep? Will I still be able to party?

4. I’m not familiar with laws and regulations outside of my own country. If I get it from a pharmacy can I assume it’s safe? Or should I test it for fet?

5. Will I be allowed to bring narcan into Mexico and back? Does narcan work for Xanax?

6. I have to bring all my meds to Mexico and back obviously, but am I allowed to bring Xanax back into the US since I would have gotten it legally? Will they search my medication bottles? I don’t plan on selling or anything just thinking of how much to buy while I’m there.

7. Please just give me any tips, warnings, or experiences you have had so I can be as safe as possible. (Or strats to prevent addiction while using)
