So i have high functioning schizophrenia which for me means i experience less delusion with symptoms so Im more 'self aware' about my condition and can better differentiate between real and not real.

2 years ago i tried a small dose of LSD with some friends that knew my condition and watch out for me. It was strange but I still had a good time and it really only enhanced my "good" hallucinations (like seeing fish swim in smoke or blue faces talking, nothing that made me scared), and even gave me some new experiences! I've tried mushrooms a few times too (beginner to med doses) and it was all fine after, except one time where I thought it meant I could stop taking my meds lol. Won't happen again because I live with my amazing boyfriend now.

I would like to try LSD again (around someone I trust) but trying to research the risk, all i can find is people try to understand schizophrenia by giving healthy people LSD. I can't find anything online about the risk of doing LSD also having schizophrenia.

If anyone has any knowledge, please help me out :)
