Suboxone Patient Trying Methadone Tonight

Post Body

This question is about whether or not I'm safe from precipated withdrawals. Been on Subs since May. Normally take 5-8mg daily. Past couple of weeks have been taking 8-12mg daily...Yes, I'm fully aware that Buprenorphine blocks other opioids from working, but people have still tried and felt the other opioid. It may not have been a full effect, but it's better than what Suboxone gives you. I tried it the other night with 40mg Methadone and actually felt a mild warmth, but I'm sure I hindered it by taking 2mg Suboxone 5 hours before. So tonight I'm taking more Methadone... Anyways, last night at 11pm I took 12mg Suboxone. If I take 70mg Methadone tonight at 2am (27hrs after 12mg Sub dose) would I be safe tomorrow if I take my normal Suboxone dose around 12 noon (roughly 10-12hrs after Methadone)? Just looking for an answer to the question. Please spare me the "why? What's the point in this? You won't feel anything (felt 40mg the other night
