I don't know where I read this, but it was an academic source that mentioned how the science used in psychedelic research is among the highest quality, and people put a religious amount of effort into this work and explaining the effects in extensive trip reports.
This is really a shot in the dark, but it was within the past couple of years. Been looking for this because the more I see the field developing, the more I see how it stands out from a lot of other research in mental health. And I went from reading that and forgetting about it, to really just seeing it for myself. Would be great to know where I read it first.
