Now that I've actually read through BfE I've got some questions about some bits of the lore that I am seeing for the first time. The first one is the EV Zebrina exploratory ship. It says that it disappeared a long time ago and then reappeared a year ago in 2671, or at least its transponder code did. However, I didn't see the reappearance actually described anywhere in BfE. Do they go into detail in one of the older books about what happened when it was found?

Secondly, the system map has a number of interesting systems that don't seem to be clearly labelled. Ceres, Oasis and Solnovum are identified as colonies by their brown dots. Palatina is identified as a member of the Big Dozen by its grey dot. However, none of their ring colors match the ones in the legend. Ceres and Oasis are ringed in a dark red, Solnovum is ringed in black and Palatina is ringed in white. Does anyone know what these colors are meant to denote or are they just printing errors? Of course, there is Homestead and that weird system in the southeast corner with the asperands and other random symbols meant to convey an alien language or a scrambled transmission. I assume that the scrambled system is a mystery for a future reveal, but I was wondering if Homestead had been discussed previously in another book or if it is a totally new bit of fluff.
