How much weight do color seasons hold with style theories?

Post Body

I’m currently on a “journey” to upgrade my wardrobe to accommodate my postpartum body, so I’ve been researching style theories.

I recently got color analyzed by Carol Brailey and, despite thinking I was a muted autumn or summer, I’m a true spring! I also think I narrowed down my Kibbe type to be soft natural at most yang and soft gamine at most yin. With Kitchener essence, I was told I was a blend of natural, gamine, ingenue, and classic, with differing percentages based on each comment.

While diving deep into understanding my true spring palette, I found that there have been discussions about whether certain body types/essences had advantageous color seasons that they flourished in, like soft autumn being natural or bright spring/winter being more gamine.

Can color seasons clue someone in on what Kibbe/Kitchener type they might be?
